Mr. Abdulkahal SALIHU

Mr. Salihu is a certified supply chain professional with over 13 years’ experience in procurement, vendor management, logistics management, inventory management, material requirement planning and lean process operations. He is a graduate of Medical Physiology, Faculty of Medicine, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

Mr. Salihu’s working career commenced at Nestle Nigeria Plc as Graduate Procurement & logistics Trainee before becoming the Procurement & Logistics Assistant of the company. He later left Nestle and joined De United Foods Industries Limited (Dufil Prima Foods) where he served as the Procurement & Logistics Officer. Before joining Niyya Foods & Drinks Company Limited as the Supply Chain Services Manager, he worked with Zeedah Global Foods Industries Limited as the Procurement & Logistics Manager where he recorded several milestones that transformed the company’s Procurement & Logistics Department with high degree of efficiency and optimisation of scarce resources. Mr. Salihu has great competences in the use Material Requirement Planning (MRP) software, Procurify, Coupa, Oracle Procurement Cloud, SAP Ariba, ERP Systems, Logistics Information System (LIMS), and other Microsoft office suites. He is a responsible and humble gentleman with the fear of God and strong team spirit.

Mr. Salihu is a member of several professional bodies both within and outside Nigeria. These includes membership of the Certified Supply Chain Manager (CSCM) from the International Supply Chain Education Alliance (ISCEA), Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply, and the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management of Nigeria (CIPS). He is a certified Fellow of the International Development & Programs with focus on Global Healthcare Supply Chain Management, Dataville Research LLC. He numerous training courses especially on supply chain, fraud prevention and food certifications.
