Engr. Muhammad Sadiq USMAN
Engr Muhammad Sadiq Usman’s journey to the Engineering profession commenced when he graduated in 1995 with HND in Mechanical Engineering (Plant Option) from the Kaduna Polytechnic, Kaduna. He is today a Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN) registered Engineer and professional member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE). He is also a Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) having been so certified by the renowned Society for Maintenance & Reliability Professionals in USA. Due to his thirst for education and professionalism, Engr. Usman sacrificed his leisure time to further develop himself and successfully obtained MBA in General Management from the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (specializing in Thermal Energy) from Bayero University, Kano.
Prior to joining Niyya Food & Drinks Company Limited as a Plant Engineer, Engr. Usman worked with Coca-cola Hellenic Bottling Company Limited (CCHBC) in various capacities such as Production shift leader. Line Manager, Utility and Facility Engineer and Plant Engineering Manager. He is currently the Engineering Manager Niyya Food and Drinks Company Limited and responsible for all Engineering and maintenance jobs as well as driving the manufacturing plant quality and productivity output targets by using the best technical techniques to ensure reliability, optimize operations, and reduce cost without compromising standards.
Engr. Usman has attended many national and international professional training courses in Manufacturing Operations and Engineering Management. He has vast knowledge and skill of Lean manufacturing, 5s, Six sigma concepts. He is a trained Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), Project Management, and Machine Installation, expert. He is an intelligent, humble, focused, and easy-going good team player. Since joining Niyya Food & Drinks Company Limited, Engr. Usman has brought his characteristic innovative ideas and industrious attitude to bear and has since positively contributed to the growth and development of the company.
