Dr. Abdulsalam E. OGBEMUDIA

Dr. Abdulsalam Eremwan Ogbemudia is a highly educated, trained, experienced, and broad-minded senior-level management and Boardroom professional with specialization covering all facets of business management especially manufacturing, marketing, supply chain, management finance, and agribusiness operations encompassing technology-based applications. Dr. Ogbemudia is a graduate of Industrial Technical Education from the prestigious University of Nigeria, Nsukka emerging as the overall best graduate of the faculty. He also possesses MSc in Business Operations Research/Management from the University of Lagos and an MBA in Marketing/Corporate from the National Open University Nigeria in addition to having a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in Business Management from the Swiss School of Business and Management, Geneva, Switzerland.

He possesses the Certified Management Specialist (CMS) with Distinction from London Graduate School, London, UK and he is a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) of International Council of Management Consulting Institutes (ICMCI), Zurich, Switzerland; Doctoral Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Specialists, Delaware, USA; Fellow of Chartered Institute of Leadership & Governance, USA; Member of the Institute of Corporate Directors, Toronto, Canada; Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Production Management, Fellow of Institute of Treasury and Financial Administration, and Fellow of the Certified Board of Administrators of Nigeria. He is also a fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants, and a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management of Nigeria.

Dr. Ogbemudia has over 25 years work experience in several reputable multinational corporate organizations. Before joining Niyya Food & Drinks Company Limited as Chief Executive Officer, he was the pioneer Group Chief Operating Officer (GCOO) of Trends Africa Group managing four (4) of the Companies in the Group. He earlier worked at various senior Management levels with multinational companies including but not limited to Promasidor Nigeria, Globacom, GBFoods Group, and Sonia Foods Group where he was also the pioneer Chief Operating Officer. Abdul (as he is fondly called) is indeed an enigma who works beyond standard norms. He has served in the Board of Directors of several Companies including Ariaro & Sons Nigeria Limited and Netoidia Nigeria Limited, just to mention a few. In terms of voluntary services, he is Vice President/CEO of Ogbemudia Irabor Memorial Foundation, Member of Amnesty International, London, United Kingdom, and Senior Member of the International Summit of Leaders. He was also formerly Executive Council member of the Progressive Friends of Benin, National Vice President of Al-Fattah Islamic Mission, Executive Council Member of Edo State Chapter of Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs (NSCIA), and Executive Director of NSCIA Comprehensive School, Benin City.
